Easy Chocolate Chip Muffins



Easy Chocolate Chip Muffins
2 cups of flour
1 cup white sugar
1 cup milk chocolate chips
½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 egg
1 cup plain yogurt
½ cup milk
1 teaspoon Ballard Extracts Vanilla Extract
½ cup vegetable oil
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line 12 muffin cups with paper muffin liners.
Mix flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and set aside.
Combine sugar, egg, plain yogurt, milk, extract and oil until well combined.
Fold in dry ingredients just until mixed and pour into prepared baking pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 20-24 minutes.

Homemade Vanilla Syrup

Vanilla Syrup
1 3/4 cup water
1 1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon Ballard Extract's Vanilla Extract

Directions:
Bring water, granulated sugar and brown sugar to a boil. Boil for 4-5 minutes until all sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and add Vanilla Extract. Enjoy with a cup of freshly brewed coffee and a dash of cream or mix in with milk to make a vanilla steamer.

Lemon Bars

Lemon Bars

Ingredients
Crust:
2 cups flour
½ cup sugar
¼ teaspoon salt
2 sticks cold butter (cut into cubes)
Filling:
1 ½ cup sugar
¼ cup flour
4 large eggs
Zest of one lemon
Powdered sugar for sifting

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 9X13 inch pan with butter or spray.
Cut in cold, cubed butter with pastry cutter or fork into dry ingredients until crumbly. Press into pan and bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes.
For the filling, combine all ingredients and whisk until well combined. Pour over baked crust and place in oven for an additional 20 minutes.

Cool for a couple hours in fridge and then sift powdered sugar over bars.

Molasses Cookies

3/4 melted butter
1 cup of sugar
1 egg
1/4 cup molasses
1 tsp Ballard Extracts ginger extract
2 cups flour
2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp cloves

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Beat melted butter, sugar and egg until well combined. Mix in molasses and Ballard Extracts ginger extract. Add flour, soda, salt, cinnamon and cloves until and mix. Refrigerate for 2-4 hours. Roll in balls and then roll in sugar. Bake in preheated over for 8-10 minutes.

Lemon White Chocolate Chip Cookies

1 cup (2 sticks) butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp Ballard Extracts lemon extract
3 cups flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salted
2 cups white chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream together butter and sugar. Beat in eggs (room temperature). Add Ballard Extracts lemon extract. Mix in flour, baking soda, salt and white chips. Bake in preheated over for 10-12 minutes.

Orange Cosmo


1 tablespoon lime juice
3 drops of Ballard Extract Orange
2 tablespoons cranberry juice
3 tablespoons Vodka
Directions: Combine all ingredients and mix.

Pear Ginger Spritzer


1 shot of Pear Vodka
½ teaspoon ginger extract
1 cup of Sprite
Ice
Directions: Combine all ingredients and mix.
